Here’s a 3D artwork I made of a classic 1700s sailing ship—every single part of it was built from scratch in Blender. No premade assets, no shortcuts. Just a ton of modeling, tweaking, and attention to detail.
From the sails and ropes to the wooden hull, tiny pulleys, and deck gear—everything you see was handcrafted to bring that old-world sailing vibe to life. I wanted it to feel like a real ship from back in the day, the kind that would cross oceans with nothing but wind and wood.
I’m not a professional 3D artist—I'm a civil engineer doing this as a hobby. So this project was all about learning, passion, and enjoying the process.
Hope you enjoy the work! It was a big project, but a fun one to build piece by piece.
